BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) While Towing
BLIS is a suite of driver-assist technologies designed to help you feel more aware of your surroundings while on the road. It also offers a selection of features meant to enhance your towing experience, covering conventional trailers up to 33 ft in length. While BLIS detects and notifies you of vehicles in your blindspots, BLIS Trailer Coverage informs you of vehicles in the lanes on either side of your trailer.10
Available Smart Trailer Tow Monitoring
This feature will inform you if something regarding your trailer needs attention. If you need to check your battery health, or your tow, turn indicator, or brake lamps are out, you'll receive an alert via the tow activity screen. This features supports up to 12 tires at a time and allows you to view tire pressures and temperatures whenever you'd like.10
Available Onboard Scales and Smart Hitch
Onboard Scales track the weight in the bed as you put your payload in. The available touchscreen displays the information, with select models including taillamp indicators as a visual aid.10 The Smart Hitch feature measures tongue weight for added confidence while towing.10
Available Pro Trailer Backup Assist
Makes backing up with a trailer as easy as turning a knob. Simply rotate the knob in the direction you want the trailer to go and Pro Trailer Backup Assist will move your truck into position.10
Available Dynamic Hitch Assist
Assists you in aligning your hitch with a trailer using the rear camera to show a guide on the available touch screen display. The lines on the guide show you exactly where to steer so you can back up and connect. No need for spotters, double checks, or getting out of the cab.10
Available Pro Trailer Hitch Assist™
Simply press and hold the Pro Trailer Hitch Assist button and it takes over. It'll steer, accelerate, and brake for you while it guides your truck into play for easy hitching to your conventional trailer. This feature will allow you to stay put without having to hop in and out of the cab to see if your hitch is lining up.10
Tow/Haul Drive Mode
This mode assists you in keeping control of the vehicle when traveling uphill and downhill. It also helps eliminate unwanted frequency of gear shifting on steep uphill grades and allows engine braking to maintain or reduce speed when descending a hill.
Available Trailer Turn Signal Camera Views
Change lanes and maneuver turns more easily with Trailer Turn Signal Camera Views. This features uses cameras to provide a side view of the truck and trailer for additional visibility while towing.*

Available Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Track the tire pressure of your towed trailer just as you would for your Super Duty. This feature uses wireless sensors, installed on the trailer's tire valve stems, to transmit pressure and temperature data. Then, it will alert you via the instrument cluster if the trailer tires drop below a predefined threshold.
Available BLIS for Fifth-Wheel and Gooseneck Trailers
Enjoy all the benefits of BLIS on your fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer with the Ford Accessory Radar Kit. This will allow you to extend the range of your BLIS features to cover trailers up to 50 ft in length.
